VCD Academy

Our Academy club program is designed for athletes who are ready to grow their skills in a structured, competitive, and fun training environment. Think of it like "club lite".

The season runs January 4 – April 25, 2027.

Each team will be assigned a VC Denver coach and will train for 1.5 hours, twice per week, focusing on skill development, positional training, and learning team systems.

This program is a great fit for athletes with foundational volleyball experience who want a competitive club option with a lighter commitment than a traditional club team.

11s/12s & 13s Teams: Thursdays and Fridays

14s Team: Tuesdays and Fridays

15s Team: Monday and Fridays

All Academy club teams will compete in 3 tournaments throughout the season as well as scrimmages. This structure will give athletes valuable game experience and the chance to apply what they’ve learned in practice.

Tryouts

Date: Friday, October 16, 2026

Location: Sports Axis, Main Gym 

Tryout Time:

11-13 age group: 5-6 pm 

14-15 age group: 6:30-8pm 

Tryouts are free if you register before October 1, 2026.

February 5-7: CO Crossroads 

March 6–7: Casper Classic (WY)

April 23-25: Rumble in the Rockies
