Caiden Cox
VC Denver Club Director
14 Black Head Coach
As Club Director of VC Denver, Caiden brings elite playing experience, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to athlete development. A former collegiate DS/Libero at MSU Denver (2017–2022), Caiden competed for five seasons at the NCAA Division II level after beginning her college career as an outside hitter at Western Colorado University (2016–2017). Prior to her collegiate career, she was a 3x high school state champion, giving her a unique perspective on the demands of high-level competition and the pathway athletes take to reach the next level.
Caiden has built a strong coaching résumé alongside her playing career. She previously served as the varsity coach at The Academy (2023– 2025) and was an assistant coach at Legacy High School in 2022. At the club level, she spent five seasons coaching with Denver Juniors / Denver Errea, first as an assistant coach from 2017–2018 before serving as a head coach from 2018–2022. During the 2024–2025 club season, she led VC Denver’s 18 Black team and in 2025-2026 she led the 15 Black team.
Caiden holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, which allows her to bring a well-rounded approach to athlete development. As Club Director, she focuses on building a culture centered around hard work, accountability, and a deep understanding of the game.
Corinne Cavender
VC Denver Associate Club Director
18 Black & 12 Black Head Coach
Corinne serves as the Associate Director at VC, mainly focusing on VC's Youth Programs. In the 2025-2026 season, she head coached the 16 White and 12 Black teams while also assisting with the 15 Black team. In 2025, she served as the JV Coach at The Academy.
Corinne began her volleyball journey as a player at FarOut Volleyball Club in her home state of Michigan before transitioning into coaching in 2016. She spent two seasons coaching 12s at FarOut before leading the 13-1 team to a 13 Club State Championship in 2019. Corinne did so while attending Grand Valley State University (2015–2019).
She later moved to Colorado, where she coached 14s–18s teams at Telluride Volleyball Club and served as the varsity coach at Telluride High School. After moving to the Denver Metro area, Corinne assisted VC Denver’s 12 Regional team and Colorado Elite’s 17 White boys team during the 2024-2025 season.
Corinne’s coaching philosophy centers on developing athletes both on and off the court. She emphasizes building teams that are hard-working and respectful while fostering a culture focused on effort, character, accountability, and high level volleyball IQ.
Makenna Dahl
Training & Recruiting Director
16 Black Head Coach
MaKenna Dahl joins VC Denver as the Volleyball Training & Recruiting Director and the U16 Black Head Coach. She discovered her passion for coaching in high school while working with her local middle school program.
While attending Oregon State University, MaKenna played on the OSU club volleyball team, coached the U18 Team at Hiki No Volleyball Club, and later joined the staff at Linn-Benton Community College as an assistant coach (2018–2021). She went on to serve as the Head Assistant Coach at Chico State (2021–2023), managing team operations, recruiting, and defensive training. During her tenure, the program finished first in the conference in both digs and dig completion in back‑to‑back seasons. Most recently, she served as the Head Coach at the University of San Diego’s Women’s Club Volleyball Team (2023–2026). She also holds a Master’s in Sports Management from Azusa Pacific University.
MaKenna brings strong collegiate recruiting experience, a sharp eye for talent evaluation, and a commitment to developing the holistic athlete. She is excited to support VC Denver athletes as they grow, compete, and pursue their next steps.

Maddie Fate
18 Black Assistant Coach
Maddie brings a high-level playing background and a passion for athlete development to VC Denver. Originally from New York, Maddie played club volleyball for Downstate Volleyball Club before continuing her collegiate career as a middle blocker at Trinity University. During her time at Trinity, she served as a two-time team-elected captain and earned AVCA Division III All-American honors three times. Maddie was also named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year and helped lead Trinity to two NCAA Division III Championship Quarterfinal appearances, including a National Championship Runner-Up finish. In addition to her collegiate success, Maddie has competed and coached internationally in Brazil and North Macedonia, bringing valuable global experience and perspective to the gym.
Taylor Boeyink
17 Black Head Coach
Taylor started playing volleyball her freshman year of high school and immediately fell in love with it. She played for her school’s varsity team and finished out her club season at The Diff, then attended CU Boulder where she played for their self-coached Women’s Volleyball Club. Her junior and senior year, she was VP and President of the club, and they were a top 10 program in the country during her last year in college. In the 2024-2025 season she coached the 15s Black team at VC and 16 gold in the 2025-2026 season. She's excited to be back for her third season at VC!
Mikayla Tallbear
17 Black Assistant Coach
Mikayla was born in South Dakota and moved to Colorado with her family at age eleven. She attended Legacy High School, where she played volleyball all four years, and competed for three different clubs throughout her club career. After high school, she attended Front Range Community College and the University of Northern Colorado, earning her degree in Business. Mikayla currently works as a Program and Planning Operations Manager for a space systems company. Her coaching experience includes assisting with 5Star Volleyball’s 13 Black and 14 Black teams from 2013 to 2015, serving as an assistant coach at Legacy High School from 2016 to 2018, returning to the Legacy program as the head coach from 2023-present, and most recently assisting the 5Star 17 Black team for the 2024–2025 season. Last season was her first with VC (2025-2026) and she assisted our 16 Gold team. Outside of work and coaching, Mikayla enjoys playing indoor and beach volleyball, camping, karaoke nights, and spending time with friends and family
Hailee Martinez
Private Lesson Coach
Hailee just finished her college volleyball career as a setter at the Colorado School of Mines. She is currently helping her sister coach at Mead High School. We are excited to have her join VC as a private lesson coach!
Adam Quidachay

Adam comes to VCD with 5 years of indoor experience and 10 years on the grass/beach. He played at MSU Denver for 2 years where he was an opposite hitter, later gaining coaching experience by assistant coaching for the team. This is Adam's third year with VC Denver. In his first two seasons he was our 16 Gold Head Coach (2023-2024 and 2024-2025). Most recently Adam led our 17 White and 16 Regional teams during the 2025-2026 season.

Amanda Lee
17 White Assistant Coach
Amanda moved to Colorado in 2018 from California, where her passion for volleyball began in the 5th grade. She went on to play as a middle blocker at Mater Dei High School and competed for Goldenwest Volleyball Club from ages 14–18. Amanda continued her playing career at the collegiate level in Irvine, California, where Olympic gold medalist Misty May-Treanor served as an assistant coach. After her playing career, Amanda transitioned into coaching, beginning at her alma mater before coaching for several years at another local high school. Since moving to Colorado, she has coached with Panther Volleyball Club, serving as both a head coach and assistant coach at the 15s and 17s levels. Amanda is passionate about creating a positive, competitive environment where athletes can build confidence, develop their skills, and foster a lifelong love for the game.

Karmen Witte
16 Gold Head Coach
15 White Assistant Coach
Karmen brings a diverse athletic and coaching background to VC Denver, with experience spanning competitive volleyball, beach volleyball, and leadership through military service. Karmen played club volleyball at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2008 before continuing to compete in adult co-ed volleyball leagues while serving in the Navy from 2009–2013. From 2021–2026, Karmen coached at the local, regional, and national levels with Absolute Volleyball Academy, serving as both a head coach and assistant coach. He was recognized as the 2025–2026 AVA Assistant Coach of the Year and has also coached beach volleyball for three seasons. In 2024, Karmen assisted with coaching clinics at the University of Texas. In addition to volleyball, Karmen was part of two TAPPS 1A Basketball State Championship teams in Dickinson, Texas from 2006–2008, bringing a well-rounded competitive background and team-first mindset to his coaching approach.

Stefanie Gallegos
16 White Head Coach
Stefanie (Stef) has played and loved the game of volleyball since she was 12 years old. She was a four year starter in high school and won two state championships here in Colorado. She played mainly defensive specialist and was also a backup setter during her career. Her coaching experience includes head coach of an amazing junior high team for three years and one year as an assistant high school coach. She was VCD's 11 Regional head coach last season. Stef had two daughters who played for VC Denver. Stef brings enthusiasm, encouragement, and dedication to every practice while focusing on fundamentals. She’s a strong believer that the “brilliance is in the basics”. She loves helping players grow their skills, build confidence, and discover their love for the game. Her coaching style focuses on team first, effort, and always playing with heart while building a foundation of leadership, kindness and great character. Stef’s goal is to create a positive environment where athletes can compete, learn, and have fun.
Jaelyn Farmer
16 White Assistant Coach
Jaelyn Farmer brings both playing and coaching experience to VC Denver. She was a 4-year varsity volleyball player at The Academy of Charter Schools and competed at the club level for VC Denver on the 16 Black, 17 Black, and 18 Black teams. Last season, Jaelyn assistant coached the 11 Regional team and has also spent time helping develop younger athletes throughout the VC Denver youth programs. She is passionate about creating a positive environment where players can build confidence, improve their skills, and grow their love for the game. Jaelyn is excited to continue giving back to the club that helped shape her as a player while supporting athletes both on and off the court.
Ciara Sanchez
16 Regional Assistant Coach
This is Ciara's second year coaching with VC Denver. Last year she served as our 15 Regional 2 Head Coach and assisted 14 Black. Ciara is working towards a degree in sports psychology at CU Denver. During her time in high school (2021-2025) she was a 4-year varsity athlete. Her positions were middle blocker and outside hitter. During her junior year she received an award of CHSAA All-State 1st team, following her Senior year with CHSAA All-State Honorable mention.
Brendon Feddema
15 Black Head Coach
Brendon Feddema (Fedds) has coaching experience that spans over two decades, including roles as the varsity head volleyball coach at Peak to Peak from 2001–2006 and varsity head girls basketball coach from 2002–2005. He also coached with Ballistic Volleyball from 2013–2021, leading multiple teams including 18 Black, 17 Black, 14 Black, and 17 Blue. For the 2025-2026 season, Fedds was VCD's head coach for 14 Black. He has previously served as the head coach for 15 Black during the 2024-2025 season, 14 Black in 2023–2024., and 18 Black during the 2022–2023 season.
Danielle Sloan
15 Black Assistant Coach
Danielle was the Head Coach for VCD's 14 Gold team during the 2024-2025 season and the Assistant Coach for VCD 18 Gold during the 2023–2024 season. Most recently, she was the head coach of 15 White during the 2025-2026 season. She is currently an assistant coach at Erie High School. She also served as the JV coach at Legacy High School in 2022. As a player, Danielle spent two years as a hitter at William Penn University, where she earned Heart of America Honorable Mention and NAIA Scholar Athlete honors. Prior to that, she played two years at Rock Valley Community College.
Jake Williams
15 Gold Head Coach
12 Regional Head Coach
Jake brings over 15 years of volleyball experience across a wide range of competitive levels, including club, the USAV Men’s Open National Championships, and AVP Men’s Doubles tournaments. A versatile pin hitter, Jake has spent the majority of his career on the right side/opposite and as an outside hitter, giving him a strong understanding of both offensive systems and positional development. Jake’s coaching style centers on encouragement, accountability, effort, and passion. He works best with athletes who genuinely love the game and are motivated to push themselves to improve. Over the past three years with VC Denver, Jake has served as a head coach for both 14 Regional and 14 Gold teams, while also playing a key role in skills sessions, youth development, and private lessons. His experience and energy make him a great fit for athletes looking to grow their game and confidence on the court.
Tyler Benateigha
15 Gold Assistant Coach
Tyler was the Assistant Coach for VCD 14 Regional during the 2024-2025 season and the Assistant Coach for 14 Gold in 2025-2026. He has 10 years of playing experience in a variety of settings, including USAV Adult Nationals. He is the co-founder, captain, and Outside/MB for the local team Denver Squeeze. Tyler’s coaching style focuses on fun and positivity, creating an environment for athletes to feel comfortable making mistakes so they can grow their skills each day.
Maekayla Ward

12 Black Assistant Coach
Maekayla returns to VC Denver after coaching both the 15 Regional 1 and 12 Black teams during the 2025–2026 season. Prior to that, she served as the Assistant Coach for VCD’s 11 Regional team in 2024–2025. She previously coached the C Team at The Academy of Charter Schools, continuing to grow her experience developing athletes at multiple levels of the game. As a player, Maekayla spent eight years competing in club and high school volleyball as a setter. She was a four-year varsity starter, three-year team captain, and earned Academic All-State honors all four years. Her strong leadership background and passion for athlete development help create a positive and competitive environment for her players.

Yaya Jorda
15 Regional 2 Head Coach
14 White Assistant Coach
Born and raised in Guam, Yaya served four years in the United States Air Force (2019–2023) and has six years of volleyball experience, playing as a setter, middle blocker, and outside hitter. In 2018, she competed internationally in the Philippines. Now a Certified Personal Trainer and Sports Performance Enhancement Specialist, Yaya is excited to bring both her athletic and professional experience to the court. Yaya's philosophy is rooted in the belief that true athletic development begins with unwavering support and team-centered growth where athletes push each other, hold each other accountable, and play for something bigger than themselves. During the 2025-2026 season, Yaya served as VCD's 16 Regional assistant Coach and 14 White co assistant coach.

Trynity Martin
14 Black Assistant Coach
Trynity began coaching during her Junior year high school , serving as an assistant coach for West Volleyball Club in Pueblo West, Colorado. She is excited to have the opportunity to influence young athletes and teach them to love the sport as much as she does. She is currently a collegiate player at MSU Denver and was part of the 2025 DII National Championship team. For the majority of her career, she has competed as a Middle Blocker. In high school, she was a 4-Year Starter for both Hoehne High School and Pueblo West High School. She brings an undying passion for the game, a desire to inspire and lead young players on and off the court, and a commitment to helping athletes learn the game on a deeper level.
Kaylee Jensen
14 Gold Head Coach
This is Kaylee's second year coaching with VCD. In the 2025-2026 season, she served both as the 14 Regional head coach and the 13 Gold assistant coach.Kaylee started playing volleyball in 8th grade and joined club volleyball when she was 13. Over the years, she had the opportunity to play multiple positions—mainly DS/Libero, with two seasons as an outside hitter, and even a season as a setter during her sophomore year. Kaylee brings a ton of energy, positivity, and love for the sport to the court. She can’t wait to help players grow, learn, and have fun while competing.
Emma Righetti
14 Gold Assistant Coach
Emma Righetti brings both playing and coaching experience from a variety of competitive volleyball environments. She has spent the past two years coaching volleyball at Oberon Middle School, helping athletes build confidence, fundamentals, and a love for the game. As a player, Emma competed for multiple club programs across the country, including FORZA Volleyball Club in California for three years, Telluride Club Volleyball for one year, and United Volleyball Club of the Rockies for four years. She also continued her playing career at University of Colorado Boulder as a member of the club volleyball program for two years. Her wide range of playing experiences and passion for development bring great energy and perspective to the gym.
Amanda Ruggiero
14 White Head Coach
Amanda brings a strong passion for the game and is dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the court. She has over 8 years of experience as a competitive school and club volleyball player. Last season, Amanda served as the head coach for 14 White and assistant coach for 15 Regional. She focuses on team building, developing a positive and resilient mindset, and strengthening the fundamental skills of volleyball. Amanda is excited to continue giving back to the volleyball community and helping athletes grow both as players and teammates. Amanda believes in creating an environment where athletes are encouraged to work hard, have fun, and embrace challenges as opportunities to improve. She looks forward to continuing to learn and grow within the sport while supporting her players every step of the way.
Enrico Lucon
14 Regional Head Coach
Enrico was born in Milan, Italy, and has lived in Colorado since 2010. He has coached volleyball for 18 years. He started in Belgium, where he lived before moving to the US. He has extensive club coaching experience (12 years), and has recently joined VC Denver for the 2026-2027 season. He has also coached for Monarch High School and Boulder High School, and will be the C-Team head coach for Peak to Peak in the fall. He has also coached for the YMCA of Northern Colorado since 2013. When coaching, Enrico strives to establish a friendly and fun atmosphere where players can improve their skills and volleyball IQ while having a good time and enjoying each other’s company. Player development has always been his top priority, with emphasis on putting 100% effort into practices and games. His biggest reward consists in helping athletes become hooked to volleyball for life – mission accomplished!

Anna Mapes
13 Black Head Coach
Anna has over 25 years of experience coaching volleyball. Her versatile coaching background ranges across all age groups and competition levels. Anna prides herself in a patient and compassionate approach to teaching and strives to develop healthy and high performing athletes. She completed CAP 1 & 2 certification courses through USA volleyball and has attended many seminars with Changing the Game Project. Anna was the Assistant coach at Fort Lewis College from 2005-spring 2007, where she played a key role in developing the most successful team in program history, leading to NCAA tournament appearances and multiple players earning RMAC and All-American honors. As a player, she competed as middle blocker for both Ole Miss(‘97 & ’98) and MSU Denver (‘08-’10), earning numerous accolades including All-Tournament, All-RMAC, All-RMAC academic, Cosida Academic All-district, RMAC Academic Player of the Year, and Sportswomen of Colorado Comeback Award. Her story was featured in NCAA Magazine Fall 2008. In 2024-2025, Anna served as our 12 Regional head coach and 13 Regional assistant coach. In 2025-2026, Anna was our 13 Black head coach and 16 White assistant coach.
Mia Accomazzo
13 Black Assistant Coach
Mia Accomazzo brings high-level collegiate playing experience and a passion for athlete development to VC Denver. A defensive specialist/libero at Metropolitan State University of Denver, Mia was part of the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championship team, helping MSU Denver capture the program’s first national title in school history. Before her collegiate career, Mia played club volleyball for Arizona Sky Volleyball Academy, where she earned recognition as a member of the 2023 17USA All-Tournament Team. Mia was a GJNC 18s National Champion in 2024 and had 3rd places finishes at GJNC's her 15s and 17s years. At MSU Denver, she has continued to excel both on and off the court, earning 2025 RMAC Volleyball Summit Award honors and First Team Academic All-RMAC recognition for her outstanding academic and athletic achievements. In 2025-2026, Mia was the Sports Management Student of the Year and the CHHS Outstanding Student of the Year. She graduated with her Bachelor's degree in the spring of 2026 and is now on to working on her Master's. In addition to competing at the collegiate level, Mia is actively involved in developing the next generation of athletes through her work as a VCD Skills Clinic Coach and VCD Youth Program Coach. Her energy, leadership, and defensive expertise make her a valuable mentor for players of all ages and skill levels.
Lexi Cassucio
13 Gold Head Coach
Originally from West Virginia, Lexi recently relocated to Colorado, where she is excited to continue sharing her passion for the sport and developing young athletes. Lexi brings over a decade of volleyball experience as both a player and coach. As a lifelong athlete, she has spent 10 years immersed in the game and has served as the head coach for West Virginia's East Fairmont Middle School volleyball team from 2021-2024. Last season, Lexi head coached our 13 Gold team. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and dual Master’s degrees in Health Sciences and Safety Management from West Virginia University. Lexi is dedicated to building well-rounded players who value teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship - both on and off the court.
Emma Gallegos
13 Gold Assistant Coach
Emma Gallegos brings a versatile background and passion for athlete development to VC Denver. Emma began playing volleyball in 7th grade and quickly grew into a multi-position player, competing as a right side, outside hitter, middle blocker, and setter throughout her career. She was a two-year varsity player, served as a team captain her senior year, and also competed in club volleyball during her 18s season. Outside of volleyball, Emma is currently pursuing degrees in Health and Exercise Science and Nursing, reflecting her passion for leadership, wellness, and helping others succeed. Her well-rounded playing experience and positive energy help create a supportive and competitive environment for her athletes.
Carli Moreno
13 Regional Head Coach
This is Carli's second year coaching with VCD. In the 2025-2026 season, Carli led our 13 Regional team. She coached the "C" and "D" teams at Legacy High School for the past four years where she has focused on developing players' fundamental skills, teamwork, and confidence. Carli is ready to continue fostering a love for the game in the players!
Sam Millison
13 Regional Assistant Coach
Coach Sam Millison is looking forward to joining VC Denver for her second year, and is very excited for a competitive and rewarding season ahead! Last season she co assistant coached VCD's 13 Regional team. She comes to the club with experience from coaching the freshman "D" team at Legacy High School. Sam has grown up playing both high school and club volleyball all her life, where she has continued to pursue her passion for the game from previously wanting to become better as a player herself to now wanting to help other players become better. Sam is eager to bring her great energy, positive coaching style, and commitment to athlete development to the VC Denver family.
