High School Prep:
Skills Clinics
This four‑week program prepares athletes for the technical and physical demands of high school volleyball. Sessions are held Mondays and Wednesdays for 90 minutes: one hour of small‑group, position‑specific on‑court training and 30 minutes of circuit work.
These sessions are intended for high school athletes (incoming 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders). For younger athletes contact makenna.dahl@vcdenver.org to see if this program is right for you.
Please note which session you are registering for:
Defensive Skills Session
Passing fundamentals, serve receive, defense, off‑block defense, out‑of‑system setting, coverage, and serving. Conditioning emphasizes lateral agility and defensive movement patterns.
Offensive Skills Session
Approach mechanics, attacking spots, transition footwork, blocking fundamentals, and setting.
Circuit work focuses on vertical jump and shoulder health.
Small groups and position‑specific training ensure athletes receive frequent, targeted feedback throughout each session.
